What is the best home espresso machine that would give me a coffee shop foam on the steamed milk?

And a good shot of espresso, of course.

Making the foam is not really an art – as the technique is easy – but can be difficult.

The best machine to make the foam for you would be the Saeco Talea line. It has a separate Milk Island attachment that foams it really well for you. Also the Saeco machines with the Cappuccinatore attachment are excellent but again that is separate.

Don't be afraid of the machines that you have to make the foam yourself. It is fun & easy to learn. The top100espressomachines.com site has some cool, short videos that will teach you quickly of how to do it right. Take a peek and if you have any questions call us direct – we're here to help you.

You can make an foam using a frother, like eurolatte. The milk need to be heated first. Checkout the inexpensive way to make espresso coffee in my source link.

I agree, with just a little practice you can get the milk to the perfect creamy froth as good as a cafe coffee (or better depending on the barista) with Saeco Machines. We rent and sell them to businesses and get excellent feedbak. Temperature is important, start with fresh cold milk, get your froth early before 40 degrees C with final temperature at 65 to 70 degrees.
